    Cavalier Dogs can make good pets in Ecuador if they match your IifestyIe. The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel is a gorgeous aristocratic looking lap dog. Cavaliers have pleasant dispositions and make wonderful family pets. Cavaliers are gentle with people and animals. Cavalier King Charles Spaniels need companionship and should not be left alone for long. Cavaliers are eager to please and easy to train. They should be kept on a leash since they tend to chase cars. Cavaliers like to romp outside and can be used for hunting. Cavaliers do well living in apartments but thrive with a daily walk and access to a small yard.

    The Cavalier King Charles is descended from toy spaniels seen in sixteenth through eighteenth century paintings. King Charles II was the inspiration for Cavalier King Charles spaniels as he owned and was painted with similar small dogs. King Charles Spaniels were the subject of an edict from the King that the dogs could not be prohibited from any public place including the houses of Parliament.
