    Cavalier Dogs can make good pets in Madagascar if they match your IifestyIe. The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel is a gorgeous aristocratic looking lap dog. Cavaliers have pleasant dispositions and make wonderful family pets. Cavaliers are gentle with people and animals. Cavalier King Charles Spaniels need companionship and should not be left alone for long. Cavaliers are eager to please and easy to train. They should be kept on a leash since they tend to chase cars. Cavaliers like to romp outside and can be used for hunting. Cavaliers do well living in apartments but thrive with a daily walk and access to a small yard.

    The Cavalier King Charles is descended from toy spaniels seen in sixteenth through eighteenth century paintings. King Charles II was the inspiration for Cavalier King Charles spaniels as he owned and was painted with similar small dogs. Cavaliers have a white spot on their foreheads referred to as the Kiss of Buddha or Kissing Spot. About half of all Cavaliers have a congenital blood disorder characterized by an insufficient level of platelets, and may develop bleeding and clotting problems.
